wow wow wow, 10 inches of hair gone!
of course she cut it shorter than I wanted, it always happens that way..
but I'm liking it just fine now. A lot less hot and tangely.

there have been tornado warnings and lots of rain nearly everyday it seems,
but i'm quite ready for summertime.

my students did blind contour drawings of flowers last week, where they only looked at the subject without peeking at the paper. it makes you so curious to look, they could hardly stand it.
the first flower is mine, the other two by students. it's funny how similar we see.

I got my hair cut 10 inches shorter...these pictures are from a few days ago,

which do you prefer? I can't decide for my final print. It's intaglio with chine colle and water color. Maybe the last two?

When I was maybe 13, my friend Sarah lived in a house by the woods. Once while we were walking back to her house from visiting her horses, we saw this huge creature walking not too far from us. It really looked like a black panther, but here I've made it more like a wolf. I wonder what it was doing there.

I'd like to introduce you to a very sweet friend of mine, Jen! She did a little interview with me on her blog, and is planning on featuring other married ladies, which I'm excited to read about. She's married too, and has the prettiest outfit photos ever. Her husband Jimmy is away with the air force, and her photos of them briefly reuniting bring so many tears to my eyes! I couldn't stand being away from kyle for that long, but somehow she's brave and makes it through.

I hadn't used my spectra for months, but it's always been my favorite ever since I was little.
I brought it to the last day of elementary school, and all my friends were fascinated.
I still feel butterflies watching the images develop.
