flowers
pen & photographic collage
one of my new books, Flowers.
When I was 16, I found out that I have a half sister. It was a very shocking surprise.
You can find out the craziest things in a short second.
A few of you asked if I dyed my hair...I did! It was ombre for a few months but now it's back to normal, a little better for the cold winter. I can't wait for december and a little break.
also,
happy thanksgiving! I'm so thankful for your kindness and all of the wonderful people I've met through this blog. I'm working midnight-9am for black friday, best of luck to anyone else who is, also!

Lost in the Haze
Wow what a weird coincidence! When I was 15 I found out I have a half sister. It was kind of surreal. I'm 24 now and have still never met her, so strange.
this is absolutely beautiful, i want it! you have such a good eye for the small things...

thank you for documenting your works! i always love seeing the result. also i have had ombre hair like yours, pretty natural, for a couple months, too! i think i'm going to go back to normal now as well but it has been a fun little change (:
happy thanksgiving to you!

i love seeing your work! it's always so lovely and inspiring :) i hope your shift went okay, i worked a 2-10pm tonight and it wasn't quite as crazy as i thought it was going to be, thankfully.
I met my father for the first time when I was 13, along with the rest of his family as well. It was very shocking but I'm glad that it happened. its truly very strange to realize suddenly that you have an entire extended family you didn't know about!
Beautiful work :D
Love it!
What a beautiful and touching book.
Wow, lovely book.
cute little illustration book! happy (belated) thanksgiving! too bad we don't celebrate thanksgiving here in australia nor we have black friday shopping boo..
What news to discover at 16! You will have to elaborate on that someday, I'm a sucker for a good family story. I think this is some of my favorite of your work that you've ever posted. Hope you made it through all the craziness of the holiday sales. Happy almost December.
your books are just the sweetest
