blizzard people
the blizzard is so bad today, work got canceled! a nice little surprise for my first weekend of winter break.
i've lost count of all the people i've seen stuck in the snow so far this morning. it's fun to see strangers helping strangers, giving high fives of success and huddling together to shield the wind.
poor kyle has to walk home from work while i stay in and wrap christmas gifts/make paper people.
we actually cheated a bit last night and each opened up one gift (woops!).
etsy opening in four days!! (i'm still narrowing down on my shop's name! hmmmmm)

These are the prettiest pictures & your gift wrapping is so cute!
i always feel a strange excitement when the weather takes over and i am stuck somewhere or my plans are forced to change. just for a day or so, it's fun to have to surrender to circumstances.
your hair is the best!
That little taiper is awesome!
Oh I love snow storms! Last year in Philadelphia, we had so much snow everyone went to the famous art museum steps and went sledding down them. It was so much fun to hang out with complete strangers! :)
Your blouse is gorgeous. Sheerness all the way!
I wish it would snow here! It's been unnaturally warm in CO this year.

Hi! I stumbled upon your blog and I think it's great :)
I wish it was snowing here. I'm looking outside right now, on Christmas Eve, and the trees are green and the pool is bubbling quietly. Yeah, Florida. I haven't seen snow it years. Nor the good spirits that come with it, such as you have mentioned.
Have a Merry Christmas!
Lovely! Hope you had a lovely holiday season :)
it's nice that people are working together to help each other out though! and the snow looks pretty from a distance (:
