chicago
Chicago was marvelous! Our friends Meg and Brad showed us lots of lovely places, including a really delicious bakery, navy pier, and the best ice cream place of all time, iCream. It was nice to take a trip before the start of school, which was today. I feel totally unprepared for this semester, because summer seems to have gone by too quickly.
Has anyone made a book with lulu or blurb? I have a class dedicated to making a book through one of those publishing sites, but I can't think of what to do yet. I wish perfect ideas could just float into my mind this semester, and for forever.
I'm trying not to get too stressed out already. Listening to the new sufjan album and looking forward to hearing his glorious voice in person, this october.

I've made a book on blurb before for a friend of mine. it turned out incredible but then again it was my first book ever published.
i'm glad you had an amazing time at Chicago! what's that colourful pastry called? I've been trying to figure out what they were but never came up with the right results.

your class sounds like a really fun one to take :) i've taken publishing modules for magazines & such but never using such online tools. i think blurb is pretty user-friendly. all the best!
These photos are wonderful. I've never used lulu or blurb before, but I keep hearing about them. Let us know how you go with them!

Your Chicago pictures are marvelous! I'm rather envious that you found macarons there. I lived outside of Chicago for years and I was never able to find them!

So was this your first time in Chicago?
Loooooooooovely photos -- they make me want to visit the Midwest again x
Beautiful Photos!
A lot of my classes require a blurb book as a final project. It's really easy to use, you can pick the paper quality, hard or soft cover etc. They also have multiple layouts, and you can customize them as well.
Your photos show a marvelous summer trip to Chicago! You must tell me where that bakery shop is located, I'm going to visit Chicago in October!
My uncle just posted something about Blurb and said that it was REALLY crappy quality. Apparently lulu is better. But that's just what I've heard.
These photos are just darling! The windy city is really beautiful, so much to do. I am in LOVE with the new Sufjan ep and also seeing him, but in November. Have fun at the show dear!

And Sufjan's new album is amazing! You are so lucky to be seeing him live!
Isn't it funny that this post is about Chicago and Sufjan Stevens; and one of my favourite songs of his is called Chicago?

Love your pictures. I've used LuLu a bit, it's kind of annoying to be honest. Maybe it's improved though since I used it! I was just frustrated at how little you could control the layout of pages.
Jealous you are seeing Sufjan!
I'm from Chicago and just moved to New York and I really do prefer the former. It's such a lovely place. I really enjoy your photos
